A piece of History

This photo is an exsample of  History being preserved by a very dedicated  individual, Automyer Herman - owner of the Lippizon Stallions.    A few years ago, I had the privialedge of being able to photograph these wonderful horse at the Ohio State  Horse Park located in Franklin Furnace Ohio.   I also had the honor and priviledge to become aquainted with and spend some time with Automyer Herman on the day of one of their shows.

These Proud animalls performed different acts that they had been trained to do which in the beginning was military defenssive moves that had been done in battle.

On another day at a different event at the Ohio Horse Park in Franklin Furnace I was able to capture this rider practicing for one of the Barrel Racing events that she had entered.

Here is another rider making his way through his paces getting ready for the up coming Barrel Race .

These animals are located in Southern Ohio near Oak Hill on a private farm.

You never know what you'll run across when you've got your camera with you and some good lenses !
